Yourpupil was started in 2006 by a group of social entrepreneurs and educators with the goal of sharing learning activities on the web. Inspired by success of Youtube and other social networking web destinations we launched your pupil initially for consumption of Hind/Urdu speaking audience. However, soon we recognized that as the global citizens we must extend Free Education to All! At Yourpupil our goal is to become the leader in online education video, and the premier destination to watch and share learning on the Web. Everyone is allowed to easily upload and share their learning experience. We believe that students and mentors can collaborate to create and use learning materials designed to be studied flexibly by people who have a range of needs and experience. Mentors upload courses; students and peers review and comment. This is an open collaborative environment that will eventually create content that is flexible enough for online delivery.
